Academic mobility of students

At NRU KEU, students who demonstrate strong academic performance, proficiency in a foreign language, and high motivation open up exciting opportunities to study abroad at our partner universities for a semester or another specified term. These opportunities include participation in exchange programs, internships, conferences, and summer schools, among others.

Our academic exchanges are executed in accordance with agreements between KEU and our partner universities. To be eligible for these opportunities, students must meet the following criteria:

Be at least second-year students.
Maintain an academic record with grades that surpass the university's set standard (excellence in subjects).
Possess a sufficient level of proficiency in the language of instruction at the host university.
To take part in academic mobility programs, students should go through a qualifying round by submitting the required documents to the International Department. These documents include:

  1. Transcript of records, detailing their grades throughout their academic history.
  2. Certificate of proficiency in a foreign language.
  3. A well-motivated cover letter in English.
  4. Curriculum Vitae (CV) and a copy of their passport.
  5. A reference letter.

Once the necessary documents are submitted, candidates will be invited for an interview with a committee established under the rector's authority. Following the interview process, the committee will select the most suitable candidates and recommend them for participation in academic mobility programs. These selected candidates will then forward their documents to the partner university.

Based on the selection results, students will receive an invitation from the host institution. The original invitation will be sent to the student's address or to the International Department by mail, with a scanned copy sent to the student's email address.

Before embarking on academic mobility, typically 10-14 days prior to departure, the student must submit a travel request and sign an agreement with the International Department to ensure their return after the academic mobility period.

Upon completing their academic mobility, students are required to submit a report on their experiences within three working days to the International Department.
