How to apply:
Phase 1: Nomination by Home University
- The selection process begins at your Home University.
- Once selected, your Home University will nominate you to Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh).
Phase 2: Online Application at AUTh
- All nominated students must apply online by submitting the required documents.
- The Erasmus+ International Coordinators at AUTh will evaluate applications based on:
- Academic performance
- Language proficiency
- Learning Agreement
Creating Your Online Account
- Click on the application link.
- Create an account with your username and password.
- Verify your account via email.
- Fill in and submit your online application.
Required Documents for Online Application
📌 Mandatory Documents (Upload Online):
✅ Learning Agreement for Studies (in English)
- Signed only by your Home University.
- 30 ECTS required if your mobility is for one semester (5 months).
- Download the official template: here.
✅ Curriculum Vitae (C.V.) (in English)
- Recommended format: Europass CV.
✅ Transcript of Records (in English)
- Provided by your university or filled in using AUTh’s template.
✅ Language Certificate
- Check language requirements: here.
✅ Previous Degree (Master’s & PhD students only).

Completing & Submitting Your Application
💾 Saving Progress:
- Your application does not have to be completed in one session.
- You can save your progress and return later.
📌 Submitting Your Application:
- If documents are ready, upload them and submit.
- If documents are not ready, save the application and submit it before the deadline.
After Submitting Your Application
📌 Application Review:
- AUTh will send your application to the ECTS Coordinators for evaluation.
📌 Selection Notification & Letter of Acceptance:
- If selected, you will receive a Letter of Acceptance.
- This letter is necessary for your visa application.
- The signed & stamped letter will be sent:
- By email
- By regular post to the home address you provided.
